„Sequential Color with Memory” - For Two VHS Video Recorders (2012)

The monochromatic structure of this piece is the result of experiments with old VHS records and tapes from American television films from 1994-1997

VHS. Changes in light intensity, saturation, and fluctuations on the magnetic field video cassette signals give the micro changes in sound generated from TV PAL output. Mechanical and unplanned modulation arising from randomization images on videotapes recorded at the beginning of the 90s. Random image content. 4 video recorders at a time were used to create these sounds.
